HOW TO MAKE A HANGOVER SMOOTHIE in Under 10 Minutes

What to drink when you’ve had one too many and you wake up feeling it? Catherine McCord, author of The Smoothie Project, has a cure for you. “Get the most out of your ingredients with this smoothie. The recipe helps to decrease stress and anxiety, improve digestion and mood, boost energy, and support the overall immune system.” Keep reading for her full breakdown of the benefits of each ingredient.

Catherine recommends the Hangover Smoothie to begin the post-drinking recovery process, followed by the Chai Beauty Greens the next day, which is amazing for hair, skin, and nails. It’s also low in calories and sugar, high in protein, and has plenty of omega 3 fatty acids and ginger to aid digestion. Learn the recipes to help with your post-cocktail recovery below.

“Whenever I drink this smoothie, I feel like I’m doing so many good things for my body. The collagen peptides help strengthen my hair, skin, and nails. The chia seeds are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which support brain function (and help me stay full until lunch), and the spinach is high in insoluble fiber and packed with so many important vitamins and nutrients. The chai spices (my favorite is a combination of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves) aid digestion and have a warming effect in your body. This one is for anyone who wants a low-sugar smoothie that makes you glow from head to toe.”
